Yemen attacked: US and UK air strikes on Hodeidah

There are reports of new US and UK air strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.
The attacks happened on the district of Bayt Al-Faqih in the Houthi controlled district of Hodeidah.

The Security Council is meeting at the UN Headquarters in New York to discuss the political process and humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

Hans Grundberg, the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, told Council members that while the spotlight is on the Red Sea, Yemen is not a footnote to a wider regional story.
