The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken over the investigation into the alleged rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. On August 14, a team of Delhi police officers, as well as medical and forensic experts, will visit the crime scene.
The Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) suspended the statewide protest on Tuesday after meeting with Union Health Minister JP Nadda.
