Former Uganda rebel found guilty: Thomas kwoyelo guilty of murder & kidnap charges

A former Ugandan rebel group commander has been found guilty of crimes including murder, rape and pillaging. Thomas Kwoyelo was a member of the infamous Lord’s Resistance Army and was facing more than 90 counts of war crimes. Kwoyelo was facing 93 counts of war crimes before a division of Uganda’s high court. He was acquited of three charges – and 31 were dismissed.
