Algerian elections: President Tebboune called for vote three months early
Campaigning has ended ahead of Algeria’s presidential election on Saturday.
Only two candidates are challenging president Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s bid for re-election.
In a rare move, Tebboune called for these elections 3 months ahead of schedule.
And for the first time in more than two decades, socialists have fielded a candidate.
