UK knife crime: Machete ban coming into effect this month
The UK government promises to halve knife crime – particularly among young people.
That’s after 50,000 knife attacks and more than 200 murders were recorded in the country during the past year.
A ban on certain types of large knives is expected to be introduced this month.
