Are black hole hiding inside planets | WION Podcast
Scientists have proposed that tiny primordial black holes (PBH) could be hiding inside planets, moons, or even asteroids! Formed right after the Big Bang, these black holes might exist as dark matter and are known to cause gravitational waves. Recent research suggests that PBHs could be consuming the liquid cores of planets, leaving behind hollow structures. To detect them, researchers plan to use large metal slabs to track the microchannels PBHs would leave behind. If confirmed, this could reshape our understanding of both dark matter and planetary interiors!
