Boeing layoffs: Plane maker cuts jobs as strike and legal woes spiral
US aircraft manufacturer Boeing is planning to lay off 17 thousand workers. That’s ten percent of its entire workforce. Strike action by its machinists has forced its factories to close. The aero-space giant is also facing legal pressure over deadly crashes and serious in-flight mishaps in re-cent years.
