Sri Lanka demonstrations: Opposition parties protest against tax increases
An alliance of opposition parties in Sri Lanka have protested against recent tax increases. Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators in the capital. Protesters are angry about the rising cost of living, and are demanding that the government resign.
