Alec Baldwin was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the ‘Rust’ set in 2021. The actor’s attorney tells ET, ‘[Baldwin] had no reason to believe there was a live bullet in the gun,’ and adds, ‘We will fight these charges.’ The New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney and ‘Rust’ special prosecutor also charged the movie’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
