Argentina workers’ strike: Unions challenge new president’s economic reforms
Tens of thousands of workers in Argentina have walked off the job in a 12-hour general strike against controversial economic reforms. The marches were led by trade unions who say the government’s planned austerity measures will worsen people’s already difficult living conditions.
