In Bangladesh, the Mohd Yunus led Interim government has banned Bangladesh Chhatra League which is a student wing of the Sheikh Hasina-led Awami Party League. The interim government has banned it under an "Anti-terror law" of 2009 with immediate effect. This comes days after protesters issued a five-point demand to the interim government, including the resignation of President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
