Ben-Gvir’s latest statements ‘very, very hawkish’ : AJ’s Correspondent
Al Jazeera’s Zein Basravi reports from Amman, Jordan. He questions whether Israel is truly sincere about negotiating a ceasefire and bringing back the captives in Gaza. Basravi points to a statement made this morning on social media by Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir. In the statement, Ben-Gvir said that Hamas must be crushed until they surrender, that the summit should not be used to stop the conflict in Gaza, and that the transfer of humanitarian aid and fuel should be halted until all abductees are returned home.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Khan Younis, southern Gaza. He said that the extent of the brutality of the attacks on al-Tabin School in Gaza City keeps unfolding with more horrific testimonies.
