Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including income, expenses, purchases, and payments, in the appropriate accounting software or ledger.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenditures, and ensuring timely payments. Handle accounts receivable by issuing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  3. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure that the company’s financial records match the actual financial transactions.
  4. Payroll Processing: Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and tax withholdings. Ensure that payroll taxes are accurately calculated and submitted.
  5. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide financial reports to management for decision-making.
  6. Budget Management: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance and report any variances.
