BRICS meeting in Russia’s Kazan wraps up: Annual summit concludes with Putin address
The BRICS annual summit has concluded in the city of Kazan in Russia.
Viewed as a cornerstone of Moscow’s foreign policy, the nine-member alliance aims to provide a counterbalance to Western powers.
It wrapped up with a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who said he welcomed U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s comments that he seeks to end the war in Ukraine.
