Catalonia elections: Parties make final pitch
Political parties in Catalonia have been making their final pitch ahead of local elections on Sunday. The governing separatist party called the early poll – after parliament failed to pass the region’s budget. It threatens to reignite the debate over Catalan independence – and even the stability of the national government.
