China Floods: Landslides and floods everywhere as China’s south gets submerged amid heavy rains
Continuous rainfall has caused severe flooding in parts of China, footage from state television CCTV showed on Saturday (June 29). Water levels at Poyang Lake, China’s largest freshwater lake, have risen above alert levels, while the Xiushan section of the Meijiang River in Chongqing is experiencing its worst flooding this year, as reported by CCTV.
