Cyprus president visits Lebanon: Leaders discuss record refugee influx
The President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides has held talks in Lebanon’s capital Beirut to discuss the record influx of Syrian refugees to the island. Cyprus says Lebanon is the starting point of all illegal crossings and wants the EU to provide financial aid to stem the flow.
