A thick layer of smog engulfed Delhi today morning as the air quality index (AQI) of the National Capital Region shot up to 361 — which is in the ‘very poor’ category — according to the reading at 7 am.
According to data provided by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the worst air quality in the city was recorded at R K Puram, where the AQI stood at 398 (very poor category)
