Families of Israeli captives in Gaza are ‘incredibly angry’
Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan says that it’s really a tale of two public opinions – two moods – in Israel on the war.
He’s in hostage square right now and people there are incredibly angry that there are still captives in the Gaza Strip. They want them to be brought home right now.
They’re very angry with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He was unpopular before October 7, but now he’s even more unpopular. That’s because he keeps saying that he is not going to be able to bring back all of the people alive.
So you have that side, then you have the political opinion, the military opinion on the war as well, which can only be described as “uncompromising”.
