Fed Chief Powell convinced Inflation rate is on right path | World Business Watch | WION
Powell, the head of the Federal Reserve, stated that the time has come for the institution to lower its benchmark policy rate. His remarks on Friday supported forecasts that the Fed will begin reducing interest rates next month in order to stop the labor market from falling off any more. The Fed Chief also stated that inflation has been declining in the direction of the bank’s objective.
