Gaza’s Khan Younis attacked: School and hospital among Israel’s targets
Israeli forces are carrying out intense land, sea and air attacks across Khan Younis.
At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in the city in southern Gaza in the past 24 hours.
Residents fleeing Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis faced gunfire from Israeli tanks and drones. The death toll is expected to rise. A surge in aerial attacks and artillery shelling targets the western part of Khan Younis. Families are surrounded by military forces, ordered to evacuate, and separated by gender. Al-Aqsa University’s compound, a shelter for thousands, is under siege, with constant shelling and attacks posing a threat to those attempting to leave.
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Rafah in southern Gaza.
