Hezbollah and Israel ‘are trying to avoid full-blown war’: Analysis
Israeli forces say they’ve launched pre-emptive strikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon after accusing the armed group of preparing to launch an extensive attack.
A 48-hour state of emergency has been imposed across Israel.
Hezbollah says it began the attack on Israel with large number of drones in response for its top military commander Fuad Shukr’s assassination in Beirut last month.
