Hezbollah faces severe losses after Nasrallah’s death, struggles to regroup amid Israeli attacks
Hezbollah was severely impacted even before the death of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli bombardment that destroyed a residential block and an underground bunker on Friday evening. The group’s military leadership has been almost entirely eliminated, and it is facing one of the most intensive bombing campaigns in its history. In Lebanon, many supporters are mourning the loss of Nasrallah, a figure they saw as a protector, and are seeking more than symbolic retaliation. Despite this, Hezbollah will need time to regroup and carefully plan its next steps amid escalating Israeli attacks.
