Illegal settlement expansion: Israeli army says it is necessary for security
The Israeli military has started taking control of Palestinian land around illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
It says it’s for security purposes after the Hamas attacks in October.
The Palestinian Authority says it proves Israel’s far-right government is using the war in Gaza to expand settlements across the occupied territory.
