Macau, the gambling capital of the world, has chosen a new leader in an election with one candidate.
Sam Hou Fai was approved by a 400-member pro-Beijing committee.
The former judge’s appointment could mean changes for the city’s core gambling industry, and have impacts on neighbouring Hong Kong.
