Amid worries of a full-scale conflict with Israel, Iran is said to have unveiled the Soleiman-402 battle tank, an enhanced variant of the American M60. The Soleiman-402, which was unveiled, is a complete improvement over the M60 model. These tanks are presently being brought back into service with major improvements. They were purchased from the United States during the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi era.
