Israeli-Palestinian duo unite in Berlin to aid Gaza’s displaced
Germany’s foreign minister says the country is increasing its humanitarian aid to Gaza by another 20 million euros – but admits this is nowhere near enough to meet people’s needs.
Meanwhile, two women living in Germany – one from Israel, and one from Gaza – have responded to the war by starting their own project to raise funds, and build showers, toilets and tents in southern Gaza. They hope their efforts can go some way to alleviating the crisis in the camps there and reduce the spread of disease.
