Israel’s Gaza bombardment ‘one of most intense civilian punishment campaigns in history’
Robert Pape, a political science professor at the University of Chicago, says with about 1% of the population killed in Gaza since the war began, the Israeli campaign is “in the top 25% of all bombing campaigns in history in terms of civilian damage”.
