Israel’s war on UNRWA: Israeli attacks have killed 226 UN employees
Israel’s war on Gaza has taken a heavy toll on aid organisations.
Its attacks have killed at least 226 United Nations aid workers.
That’s the most killed in a single conflict since the establishment of the UN.
Early in the war, Israel launched a disinformation campaign, accusing some employees of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees of being involved in the attacks on October the 7th.
However, an investigation found no evidence.
The agency is a lifeline for the 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.
Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo has this report from the United Nations.
