Mexico elections: Voters have choice of two women for first time
Around 100 million Mexicans are eligible to go to the polls on Sunday to elect more than 20,000 federal, state, and local representatives. The two leading candidates for the presidency are, for the first time in history, both women. Xochitl Galvez represents an opposition coalition. And Claudia Sheinbaum is the current president’s chosen successor.
