Mohenjo Daro under threat: Pakistan’s heritage site impacted by climate change

Pakistan’s Indus Valley was once home to one of the world’s first great civilisations. Known for its well-planned cities, sophisticated drainage systems, and a script that remains mostly undeciphered, the Civilisation’s largest city endured for centuries, and its ruins have provided a treasure trove for archaeologists.

But now, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mohenjo Daro in Sindh Province needs urgent attention, as climate change takes its toll.
