Netanyahu apologises for captive deaths, pushes back against pressure over Gaza war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under increasing domestic and international pressure to agree to a ceasefire deal in Gaza, to secure the return of the captives in Gaza and the release of Palestinians in Israeli prisons.
There have been daily protests in Israel triggered by the recovery of the bodies of six captives from Gaza on Saturday.
Benjamin Netanyahu has asked for forgiveness but insists the war will continue.

Al Jazeera’s Heidi Zhou-Castro reports.
