Nobel peace prize: Nuclear disarmament group honoured with 2024 prize
The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to a Japanese pressure group that campaigns against the use of nuclear weapons. The prize defied widespread expectations that peacemakers in the Middle East would receive it. But the actual recipients drew their own parallels with the war in Gaza and Lebanon.
