Opening Erez crossing is ‘not enough’: Expert
Jeremy Konyndyk, President of Refugees International, told Al Jazeera that although the temporary opening of the Erez crossing was a step in the right direction it still falls short of what needs to happen.
“Without a ceasefire, it will not be possible for aid groups to put together the kind of anti-famine operation that Gaza now requires”, he said.
