Peru public transport strike: Walkout over safety cripples life in Lima
A three-day strike by public transport workers has brought Peru’s capital to a standstill.
Unions are demanding the government take action against organised crime after three drivers were killed in September.
The government has already declared a state of emergency in parts of the capital and says it’s creating a special squad to combat extortion.
