Polls close in Jordan: Voter turnout for election lower than expected
Polls have closed in Jordan as the Kingdom witnesses the return of political parties to parliamentary elections. Despite expectations for higher engagement, voter turnout was slightly below projections, with just under 33% of eligible voters casting their ballots.
