Protests in Mozambique: Opposition leader calls for a seven-day national strike
There’ve been more protests in Mozambique against election results that demonstrators say were rigged. The country’s electoral commission, which says the ruling FRELIMO party won the polls, has not commented on reports of widespread voting irregularities. Rights groups say more than 13 people have been killed in the violence. Opposition leader Venancio Mondlane has called for a seven-day nationwide strike.
