President Cyril Ramaphosa officiated the repatriation and restitution homecoming ceremony of South African freedom fighters who passed away in Zambia and Zimbabwe during the apartheid era.
The remains of over 42 struggle heroes who were repatriated back to South Africa arrived at freedom park heritage site, where families of some of the late freedom fighers attended – with many hoping the gathering will help them find closure.
