RSF shelling in Sudan: At least 30 people have been killed

At least 30 people have been killed and 70 injured in shelling in Sudan by the Rapid Support Forces paramilitary group.
The attack was carried out in a crowded market in the city of Sennar on Sunday.
It came a day after Sudan’s foreign ministry rejected a call by the UN for a peace force to protect civilians.
The attack is the latest in a conflict that broke out in April last year between the Sudanese army and the RSF.

Al Jazeera’s Hiba Morgan has more from the Sudanese capital Khartoum.
