In Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, the ancient city of Baalbek—home to two Roman temples designated as UNESCO world heritage sites—is under increasing threat. Strikes have intensified in the region, as the city, known for being a Hezbollah stronghold, is targeted by Israel’s military.
