Sudan’s healthcare in crisis with hospitals out of service and volunteers stepping in
The conflict between Sudan’s army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has pushed the country’s healthcare sector to the brink of collapse.
The United Nations says 70 percent of its hospitals are out of service.
And at one health centre in the capital, volunteers with no medical background are stepping in to help doctors.
