Surgeon describes dire conditions in Gaza hospitals
Gaza’s healthcare system has nearly collapsed.
The Palestinian Health Ministry says it has documented more than 270 attacks on
medical facilities across Gaza since the war began.
Dr Victoria Aveson is a surgeon volunteering with charity group Humanity Auxilium.
She says healthcare facilities face several challenges as they try to treat injured Palestinians in Gaza.
