Taiwan’s controversial bill: Parliament sits for the second reading
Taiwan’s parliament discusses a controversial bill expanding legislative power. The bill would grant legislators the power to question, investigate or demand documents from any government official, military general or the president. It has already drawn thousands of people onto the streets.
