Thailand’s monkeys go bananas: Wild animals rounded up and placed in captivity

To some, they’re rascals. To others, they’re a dangerous menace.
But the wild monkeys of Lopburi in central Thailand, are finally being rounded up and placed in captivity.
At one stage they had formed gangs, fighting turf wars for control of the city centre.
Local residents are relieved they’re being removed.

Al Jazeera’s Tony Cheng reports from Lopburi, central Thailand.
