Former US President Donald Trump spoke at his first public event since an apparent assassination attempt on Sunday. Security was tight at the rally in Flint, Michigan, where thousands lined up to attend. Trump appeared more at ease in the town hall setting compared to his recent debate with Kamala Harris. At the event, he promised to revive Michigan’s manufacturing industry, including imposing a 200% tariff on Chinese cars, contrasting his stance with that of Harris, whom he accused of harming the auto sector. His focus on manufacturing was well-received by the audience.
