Turkish Citizens March in Solidarity with Gaza, Calling for End to Israel’s War Crimes

Turkish citizens marched in Istanbul to support Palestinians, calling for an end to Israeli war crimes and boycotts. The march, organized by the Palestine Initiative, saw hundreds of civilians and NGOs gather at Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, and walk to the downtown. The group of people voiced their fears and concerns about the bombing of Rafah, which is putting around 2 million lives at risk. The Palestine Initiative called for a boycott against Israel and demanded a free Palestine from river to the sea. Israel continues to target civilian settlements, and more attacks are against civilians than against Hamas. The protest in Istanbul is part of the global march being held across the world today.
