UN court orders Venezuela to refrain from action
The UN’s top court has ordered Venezuela to refrain from taking any action in a border dispute with Guyana.
Caracas has long laid claim to its neighbor’s oil-rich Essequibo region and is holding a national referendum on its fate on Sunday.
But Guyana says it could be a pretext for a land grab.
