US election: False claims about immigrants put Ohio town on edge
The small city of Springfield Ohio, has taken center stage in the country’s fight over immigration policy.
Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance, have spread false claims that Haitian migrants there are eating people’s house pets.
The candidates have refused to stop, despite pleas by state and local officials. And a possible visit by Trump has put the community on edge.
