US elections: Voting begins ahead of official November 5 date
The first ballots have been cast in the U.S. presidential election.
The start of early voting is giving citizens their first chance to choose either Democratic candidate Kamala Harris or Republican contender Donald Trump in what many are calling a consequential race for the White House.
