The US military says it bombed numerous Houthi targets after Iran-backed rebels claimed to have attacked Israeli, American, and British ships off Yemen. The US Central Command announced on X that its forces had destroyed an air defense system with two missiles ready to launch, a ground control center in Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen, and one unmanned aircraft system launched by the Houthis from Yemen over the Red Sea.
